Micro wedding photographer

A MICRO WEDDING is all about intention — fewer guests, more meaning, and a day that feels truly personal. Whether you’re exchanging vows at a beautiful venue, a chapel, or somewhere meaningful to you, micro weddings allow you to focus on what really matters. As a photographer who specializes in documenting intimate celebrations, I approach every micro wedding with the same care, creativity, and storytelling as a full-scale wedding.

Intimate Moments, Timeless Memories

As a photographer with nearly 10 years of experience, I’ve found that micro weddings (typically 30 guests or fewer) offer a unique kind of magic. Whether you are planning a Kitchener City Hall elopement, an intimate ceremony at the Cambridge Mill, or a private backyard celebration in Waterloo, my goal is to provide a relaxed and comfortable experience.

I specialize in a true-to-color style, ensuring your gallery looks exactly how your day felt—natural, vibrant, and beautifully real. Choosing a micro wedding doesn't mean you're doing "less"; it means you're focusing more on the connection that matters most.

Why Choose a Micro Wedding

• More time together, less rushing
• A relaxed, meaningful ceremony
• Flexibility with locations and timelines
• Lower overall wedding costs
• A focus on connection over spectacle

What It’s Like to Be Photographed at A MICRO WEDDING

Micro weddings move at a different pace — slower, softer, and more connected. My approach is calm, guided, and natural, allowing you to stay fully present while I capture every meaningful moment. Whether it’s just the two of you or a small group of loved ones, your micro wedding will be documented with the same care and intention as any large celebration.

How many hours of coverage do I need for a micro wedding?

Most couples find that 2 to 4 hours is the sweet spot. This allows us to capture the ceremony, your family photos, and a relaxed couple’s portrait session without feeling rushed.

Can we add more time if we decide to have a small dinner?

Absolutely! While my micro wedding coverage starts at $494, I offer flexible add-ons for couples who want to document their dinner, speeches, or a first dance.

Do you help with location scouting for elopements in Ontario?

Yes! I’ve spent a decade shooting in the Kitchener-Waterloo area and beyond. I’m happy to recommend hidden gems, from urban industrial spots in DTK to romantic nature trails for your private vows.

What is the difference between an elopement and a micro wedding?

Typically, an elopement is just the couple (and perhaps two witnesses), while a micro wedding includes a small group of your closest loved ones. I treat both with the same artistic care and storytelling approach.
